I saw my Grandma the other mornging!

I wouldn't have known it was her except she was wearing that ratty, holed filled green & white checkered jacket.

Personal Experience

My Mom and my Cousin (the one who can communicate with the other side) have both been hearing Polka Music in their minds.

According to my Cousin, she's been told the music is being played by my Grandma, Grandma's Brother, and some of my Grandma's cousins.

I've heard some of the same type of music, but not as much or as often as my Mom or my Cousin have.

Personal Experience

On Tuesday of this week, while in that state where you are not totally asleep, but not completely awake, I felt a woman gently tapping me on both sides of my face under my chin, and before that, heard a man say something in my ear, but I couldn't make out what he said.

My Grandma's Only Personal Experience

This event took place in March 2013

My Grandma had gone to bed, and my Mom & I were still up, watching TV. Around 1 am, my Grandma came out of her bedroom, to the living room and said "are they gone yet".

My Mom and I looked at each other, then at her and said "is who gone?"

Grandma looked at my Mom with that "duh" look on her face & said "the two men who came out of your bedroom."

Apparently laying in the dark, in bed, my Grandma saw two men walk out of my Mom's bedroom, and walk to her bedroom and stand in the doorway and look at her.

Now my Grandma wasn't afraid of many things, and if she was ever afraid she never showed it; not even when her first husband was beating the tar outta her. But this, this scared her so badly that she hid under her blankets like a little child.

Well after assuring her, there were no men in the house, we finally got her back into bed, myself promising her that I would not let anyone hurt her (now that she has passed, I deeply regret that I did not sit in her bedroom with her, at least until she fell back to sleep, cause it was clear she was scared.).

Once she was back in bed, my Mom and I, still in the living room, began talking about what had just happened. While discussing it, we clearly heard a female voice, coming from back by the bedrooms (and no it was not my Grandma speaking). No we could not make out what was being said, but, by the tone of the voice, who ever this woman was, she was giving someone hell.

Needless to say no one got much sleep that night.

Come morning my Mom, quickly contacted a relative who has been able to communicate with spirits, her whole life, and this relative said, the two men Grandma saw had come to take her home that night. They'd come to assure her that it was okay to let go, that she didn't have to worry, that my Mom & I would be taken care of. That they never dreamed they would scare her that badly.

What about the female voice my Mom & I heard? Well according to our relative, that was one of my Grandma's Grandmothers, and she was yelling at the two men who had come to take my Grandma "Home" that night. Why was she yelling at them you ask? Because instead of taking Grandma "home" they scared the life outta her.

So my Grandma was meant to die in March 2013, but because the spirits that had been sent to bring her "home" scared her, she lived until May 19, 2015.

Personal Experiences

12-24-2015

While I was driving to my Aunt & Uncle's on Christmas Eve, my Mom off and on would hear singing. And there was no radio playing, no music of any kind playing. And I didn't hear a thing.

------------------------------------------

12-25-2015

My Grandma sent me a Christmas gift and a message from Heaven.

My Aunt & Uncle got me this necklace as a present

The words wrote in the box are lyrics to the song "You Are My Sunshine" which is the song my Grandma used to sing to me when I was little.

I truly believe this was a finally gift from my Grandma as well as a message from her.

----------------------------------------

12-31-2015

My Mom saw my Grandma sitting in her chair in the living room. It lasted for only a few seconds, but she saw her.

--------------------------------

1-1-2016

My Cousin told us that her little Grandson, (who like her, is very gifted and can communicate with and see spirits.) told her that "Great Great" (which is what he called my Grandma, as she would be his Great Great Aunt.) was with him a lot.

-------------------------------------

The other night, my Mom & I both heard "Silent Night" being sung, it only lasted for a second or two. And there was no music source.

Message From Grandma

My mom found this

at work, the only one in the whole store.

Then that night on during one of our TV shows that we watch, they sang "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" (which we used to tease Grandma with by singing it to her, cause every time she heard the song she would laugh.) & "Up On A Housetop" (which is the song Grandma & I would sing, while decorating her Christmas Tree at her house.)

So Grandma is basically almost yelling at me to enjoy Christmas like I always have.....

But how can I?

I'm trying Grandma, I swear I am.

Elf On A Shelf

Personal Experiences

The Homegroup icon appeared for no reason on the desktop of my laptop this morning.

The Homegroup icon appears on the desktop of my laptop once a month since my Grandma died; and it started the day she passed.

And the normal way you remove the icon doesn't work. I have to simply restart the laptop to make it go away.

Another experience last night was the hallway leading to the bedrooms was cold and the main bathroom was FREEZING!

Personal Experience

Yesterday (Thanksgiving Day), while my Dad was here, my Mom heard singing, but she was the only person to hear it. As usual, it sounded like it was coming from the basement.

Later last night, I got sick and had to be taken into the ER, while there, the room kept getting colder and colder. And it was that "special" type of cold that tells you, you are not alone.

Then early this morning (around 2am Central Time) once we were home, my mom kept hearing people talking. I heard nothing, but then again, I was under the influence of the medication given to me by the ER Doctor.

Today, I had to go back to Walk-In, because my symptoms returned.

While in the exam room, the room kept getting colder and colder, it was like a wave of cold air hitting you.

Personal Experiences

The other night I was driving home and I swear to god I saw a shadow figure ride a bike past the car.

Today we came home from doing errands and the bathroom light was on; it was off when we left the house.

And just now at 9:30pm my mom smelt her grandpas pipe smoke

Personal Experience

On Halloween night I smelled the scent of the old time face powder my Grandma would use when she wore make up.

That powder had a distinct smell; not a bad smell, just a distinct one; at least to me it always did.

Shared Personal Experience

This past Tuesday, while at my Grandma's house, sorting through more of her things; I was alone in the house, while my Mom was out on the front porch, putting a garbage bag in the trash can, when the screen door opened and shut all by itself.

We were at Grandma's again on Wed., and the screen door opened and slammed shut all by itself, and then a few minutes later quickly opened and shut all by itself once more. My Mother was in the house this time so she experienced it as well.

A person we know who can communicate with the other side, awhile back told us that "all the men folk" in our family that have passed on, were now at my Grandma's house 24/7. My Mom and I assume it's to protect the house and property, possibly to reassure my Grandma in the afterlife that no harm would come to the house, or to her children or grandchildren while they were in the house, sorting through her things.

Personal Experience

Personal experience, which took place last night in my home. Experienced by my Mom & myself.

Between the estimated hours of 4 & 5 AM, this morning, I heard first, Mexican Trumpets, and then a Bagpipe playing.

My Mother, at the same time, heard something completely different. She heard a man, a very loud man, who was clearly trying to make a point with someone, talking....but as always, could not make out what was being said.

All activity stopped around 5:30 AM.

The weather was calm, the winds were 15 mph from the SE. And inside the home, I had been awake all night (therefore so had my Mom, as she was trying to help me), due to severe leg pain (which is a story for my personal blog, not here).

My personal belief is that the music was that of my relatives, trying to comfort me, by taking my mind off my pain, so I could go to sleep.....as for the man my Mom heard.....I am unsure about that. She did mention that while not being to understand what was being said, she did not recognize this man's voice. But that does not mean he was not a relative, of which is mainly who haunts our home.

Princess Diana ancestor Lady Winchcombe is haunting Kate Middleton family's £4.7 million home

The ghost is said to ride past Michael and Carole Middleton's new manor with four headless coachmen.

A ghost related to Princess Diana is haunting the Duchess of Cambridge’s parents, the Sunday People has revealed.

At midnight, the spectre of Lady Frances Winchombe is said to ride with four headless coachmen past Michael and Carole Middletons’ new home, a £4.7 million manor, in Bucklebury, Berks.

The restless banshee, who died of a broken heart after her husband cheated on her, ended her life in the area.

Councillor Wynne Frankum said: “The story of Lady Winchcombe is well known around here. The ghost is a chariot drawn by six black horses driven by headless postillions and a lady clad in white.”

Michael, 63, and Carole, 57, invited expectant parents William, 30, and Kate, 31, to the Grade II listed Georgian house over the Christmas holidays.

And residents report strange noises coming from Lady Winchcombe’s coach, said to rattle along the lane there.

Historian Martin J Wayland has collected several sightings and reports for his book Kate Middleton Country.

He said: “Lady Winchcombe is a descendent of the Spencer and Churchill families and the British Royal Family, she is related to the Stuarts as well as a distant relation to Lady Diana Spencer.

“I can trace her haunting and first recorded sighting back to 1898.”

Lady Frances was married to Queen Anne’s Secretary of State Henry St John for 18 stormy years.

In 1715 he ran off with £13,000 from the estate to live with his mistress, the Marquise de Villette, in her French chateau at Marcilly.

Martin said: “She died of a broken heart and shock after starving herself in October 1718, at 37.

“She wasn’t buried until the December – which is why we think that she could never rest in peace.”

Last day of The First Ward School House Fund Raiser 9-14-2012

Thanks to the event held by the W.I.P.S. Team who own The First Ward School House, I had the chance to meet the Booth Brothers, and have now had the chance to become friends via Facebook, with Ben Hansen from SYFY Channel's TV Show "Fact Or Faked".

Photobucket

During our Investigation on 9-14-2012, the Booth Brothers were at the School House, filming. They are making another one of their famous and popular DVD's about the School. :-( sadly I did not get in any of the film, at least not that I am aware of. But I was there at the exact time they were there filming, so that's good enough for me :-)

An interview with Christopher Booth will be airing on Storytime on October 6th, on SEPIA RVP Radio, and an interview with Ben will be airing in December 2012 or Janurary 2013.

The W.I.P.S. Team invite other paranormal teams to come investigate the School House. For a fee of $50.00 per person, you can spend from dusk till dawn investigating every floor of the school house.

Please note that money collected from the fund raiser and from the investigation fees, go towards repairing the School House; as Justin (Lead Investigator of W.I.P.S.) and his wife & Children live in the School house. And when they bought it, it was in very very rough shape.

If your team is interested in seeing what you can find at the School, call them @ 1-(847)-867-6037 or email them @ relativelyhaunted@live.com (Please in your email put in the subject line "Requesting investigation of School House).

I can tell you from personal experience that Justin and his entire family are wonderful people, who are very kind & generous.

Picture One

This picture was taken during a protection ceremony, before our investigation of the School began. Notice on the upper left corner, behind the woman is a large mist, and then next to her (between her and the man) is a face.

Photobucket

Picture 2

In this picture, which was taken in what was once the 3rd Grade Classroom, notice the Orbs going from floor to ceiling in front of the photo. In an attempt to debunk that it was perhaps a reflection off of the picture frame, please refer to picture 3.

Photobucket

Picture 3

In this photo, an investigator set up a laser grid, and as you can see, to gentlemen stood in front of the painting. But if you look closely, the Orbs from Picture too (see above photo) are still there, appearing in front of the men.

Photobucket

Picture 4

Please notice in this picture, which was taken in what was once the Kindergarden Classroom, on the left side of the photo you see a shadow that resembles a child, wearing a hat, that is is like bending backward.

Also notice on the right, just in front of the flowers, if you look carefully, you can see what looks like a little face, like a little child or doll laying it's head on the table, while the rest of it's body hangs off the edge of the table.

Photobucket

Final Picture

In this picture, also taken in what was once the Kindergarden Classroom; if you look towards the upper left corner you can see the outline of a face, with what to me, appears to have "fang" like teeth in the mouth area.

Also be on the look out for E.V.P.'s captured during our investigation at the school house.

Fairlawn Mansion, Superior Wi

Article from Phantasmagoria Photo

Fairlawn Mansion

In early October, 2009, Anna and I drove to the northern part of the state for a competitive run. Ashland, a small former fishing and shipping hub on Lake Superior, was about two hours away and made for a long but enjoyable drive to a part of the state that I hadn't seen much of.

With the race's popularity, we were unable to gain a hotel close to the race area so we had to stay in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. For dinner we took part in a regional tradition, a fish boil, afterward caught Zombieland at a local 80's era movie house, then went to bed.

We woke to two inches of snow and a frantic drive back into Wisconsin along the lakeshore to the race staging area. Anna ran and she did a fantastic job, her fastest and best time yet, despite the very cold weather. After two hours standing in the cold to cheer her on, I warmed up while we got her metal engraved. We loaded into the car and continued northwest along the coastline to Bayfield, another small town along Lake Superior, known for the Apostle Islands and its history as an important fishing and shipping village, similar to Ashland. Between the two towns we stopped in an artist town, to pick up two very flaky turnovers from a small bakery and browse an interesting second-hand store. There we picked through the costumes and vintage clothes, coming away with two plastic dime-store Halloween masks from the 70's, which now hang in our kitchen. We visited the local shops and artist studios after arriving in Bayfield. Then as the light outside grew dim we decided to take a Ghost tour. We hoped to find some information about other haunted places to photograph. The guide had a knack for story-telling, which helped us forget about the biting lake-wind tearing through the town as we wandered from street to street hearing the tales of haunted Bayfield. Disappointingly, the tour guide made vague references to each place to protect homeowners who frowned upon ghost-seekers.

After the bitter-cold walk on the hour and a half tour we headed in the car towards Superior, just east of Minnesota exactly on the border, to meet up with friends and find our hotel. On the way we both talked about photographing the Victorian mansion, rumored to be haunted, in town the next morning. We arrived and settled in for the night. Upon waking, we asked the hotel staff for directions to coffeehouses or Starbucks to help start our day. The person at the front desk of the hotel suggested the Red Mug Espresso. We drove off into Superior.

Finding the place was a bit tricky since it was located on a lower level of the Trade and Commerce Marketplace, formerly the police station and jail. The Red Mug was wonderful, filled with artwork by local artists and a stage for music on certain nights. We both ordered a drink and talked about the events of the weekend. The coffee was so well brewed Anna ordered a second. After the coffee kicked in, we headed towards the mansion we wanted to see and photograph.

We arrived at the mansion and were immediately impressed by its size and Queen Anne style of architecture. We could not enter the house due to a tour at the time so we were unable to view the 42 rooms feature in the home. We walked around the lawn taking pictures, trying to include the four-story turret that loomed overhead. With the prominent porch, steeply gabled roof, and use of contrasting colors and textures the beauty of the house struck us.

Built in 1891 for wealthy lumber and mining baron Martin Pattison and family, Fairlawn sits on the shore overlooking Lake Superior. After Martin’s death in 1918, wife Grace Pattison donated the mansion to the Superior Children’s Home and Refuge Association and was turned into an orphanage. The mansion served as an orphanage for about 42 years, after which the City of Superior purchased Fairlawn in 1963 for demolition in accordance with Grace Pattison’s will. Fortunately civic leaders and members of the Pattison family were able to save the mansion due to a legal loophole and turned it into a city owned museum.

Visitors taking tours of the house have reported seeing a woman dressed in period clothing guiding them to specific displays then vanishing, leaving a cold damp chill in the air. Many believe it’s a servant girl that was murdered by her husband shortly after leaving the mansion. Some feel she haunts Fairlawn Mansion because it was the one place she felt happiest in her life. The ghosts of two children have been seen and heard playing near the old swimming pool in the basement. No records indicate that any children died in the house; some feel they may have accidentally drowned during the time the mansion served as an orphanage. Records have remained sealed by the county.

Ghost Complaining Of Being Cold

A friend's daughter agreed to keep the urn containing the ashes of a friend's husband, while the friend got moved.

My friend's daughter stored the urn in her garage. The man was from florida and now his ashes were in a cold garage in WISCONSIN!.....do the math!

They started hearing "I'm cold", things would be moved and rearranged. My friend's daughter and family would go away from home, come back, and find their furnace turned on, and it wasn't on when they left!

Finally they couldn't take it any more and quickly took the urn to the lady who had asked them if they could hold on to it for her.

My friend confimed the furnance being off and then on when they got home, so once the urn was gone, my friend firmly stated out loud "Leave these people alone, you aren't in the cold garage any more and they can not afford the high heating bill you are causing them. So stop and leave them alone."

Everything stopped after that.

My personal opinion is that once the urn was removed from the cold garage, that would have on its own stopped the activity, but my friend I believe did the right thing by telling the spirit, to leave her family alone.

UW La Crosse

This report was found on W-FILES.COM

While in college in LaCrosse, Wisconsin (UW-L), I lived with one other person a few blocks off campus in a house that was definitely haunted (yep. definitely).

The house was really pretty strangely laid out. It was an old converted farmhouse. The kitchen was (by far) the largest room in the house. The bathroom was so small, you had to duck under the sink/over the toilet to get to the bathtub (the bathroom was obviously an afterthought: I'm sure when the house was built, a nifty little outhouse stood out back ;-). There was one bedroom downstairs, and two upstairs (upstairs was essentially one room, with a dividing wall--typical old cape cod style. The basement was creepy: a bunch of storage rooms around the outside perimeter and one huge, octopus of a furnace in the center (the furnace made quite a noise whenever it kicked in).

The place was really kind of a wreck (typical student housing). There were even a few holes in the walls (in Wintertime [pretty much half the year in Wisconsin--back then!], my roommates clothes-closet would fill w/snow!)

The strangest thing about the whole place was that in the backyard was another house! A really tiny place, almost like a playhouse. It was completely functional however, and totally separate, with it's own utility service, etc. A deaf lady lived there the entire time we did. We had virtually no interaction with her at all, and I never did see the inside of the place.

Anyway...getting on to the ghost...

Things began to happen immediately: we'd be watching TV (not remote-controlled), and just when the best part of the show would be coming on--BLINK!--the set would shut off. Or, it would turn on in the middle of the night, with the sound turned ALL the way up.

Whenever you would take a shower when you were alone in the house (since it was just my roommate and myself, this would be pretty obvious), you could hear someone RUNNING up & down the stairs (the bathroom was right at the bottom of the stairs). Thinking someone was in the house, you'd shut off the shower--no sound--shrug and start it up again ... and sure enough, the running and bumping would start up again.

A couple of times, my roommate heard someone scraping on a frying pan in the kitchen sink (a pretty recognizable sound). Thinking it was me, he'd go into the kitchen--the sound would stop, and no one would be there.

My girlfriend swore that a couple of times when she was lying on my bed, she felt someone sit down on the bed next to her--thinking it was me, she turned--to find herself all alone in the room.

Oh, and once in a wall, a knock would go along the outside wall of the house--ALL the way around.

This kind of stuff happened ALL THE TIME. It got to be a real nuisance (especially the TV going on in the dead of night). It was so common it wasn't even freaky any more. I personally never felt threatened at all--I think it bothered my roommate more, as things seemed to center more around him than me.

After we moved, a family bought the house and renovated it. That was about 15-20 years ago. Nowadays, whenever I get over to La Crosse (once in a while), I think about knocking on the door and asking the occupants if the ghost is still hanging around--'cause if it is, I'm sure it's obvious.

Maybe one day I will...
