Ghost Asylum Review

I found ghost asylum an interesting show.   The Tennessee wrath chasers in my opinion are a very capable paranormal research team.

They seem to use all of the current technology available to the field of paranormal research and investigation. They also seem to be a caring team in which they not only care about each other but their clients as well.

My only dislike and this is just my personal opinion, is the constant attempt at trying to trap an entity. However in episodes that I have seen in which they attempted to trap an entity it was with the intent of removing this good spirit from the place where it appeared to be trapped in and setting it free so that the spirit could rest in peace.

I find noble, but on the other hand I think they should not try to attempt to trap entities at all; for they never know for sure if they are trapping a good entity with good intentions or an entity with evil or harmful intentions or even possibly a demonic spirit.   Trapping a spirit with evil or harm full intention or demonic entity could prove disastrous for the team back at their headquarters where they examine the trap to see if it contains an entity.

Also demonic entities can fool you into believing they are good entities, so the team could be tricked into releasing a demonic entity out into the open instead of leaving it in a location where it could most likely only harm those who entered the location or are in close proximity of the location.

Ghost Stalkers Review

.I find this show very interesting the fact that each of the investigators has had either death experience or near death experience which puts an interesting twist on the fact that they are now investigating the paranormal.

what one investigators says he saw while dead, reminds me of what the entrance to hell would look like.   This investigator is unsure of whether that is what he was seeing or not but it has fueled his desire to find out.

The only thing I disagree with the way this team conducts their investigations.   They go in solo. In my opinion you should always use the buddy system; because you never know what might happen. They also during their solo investigations appear to have no way of communicating with each other other than a visual check using one of their cameras that they place on location for the purpose of checking in with each other.  However this camera appears to not have any audio so the investigator could convey a message of distress or worry to his teammate in the control center.

Other than that I find their investigations thorough and interesting and the fact that they are always looking for gateways or portals connecting our world and the beyond its fascinating to me.

I commend their reasons for doing solo investigations; to ensure the evidence they collect is not contaminated by humans.

NOTE: Upon watching the 11-20-2014 episode I learned their "check in" camera does have audio.  Perhaps those times when it didn't something was interfering with their equipment.

For five years, America woke up with Today show co-anchor Meredith Vieira, but now she's going to prevent the country from falling asleep thanks to a guest spot on Syfy's spooky series, Ghost Hunters.

On October 26, Vieira joins hosts Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes at the Veteran's Memorial Hall Playhouse in Staten Island, NY and ETonline has your first look at the trio at work! Their investigation is aimed at learning the truth about the town's mysterious woman in white, a spirit who has continually made her presence known -- and felt -- as she is often seen lamenting her lost love.

But Vieira isn't just appearing on the fellas show -- both Wilson and Hawes will participate in a special edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, airing (appropriately) on Halloween!

Ghost Hunters premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on SyFy.

“Ghostlab began filming part of Season Two of the show Monday in Moundsville,” reports Crissy Clutter for StateJournal.com. Among the residents in the city of Moundsville there is a long-standing tale: ghosts are being housed in the dark and dingy Moundsville Prison.

“The old prison has been shut down for several years, but many believe there are spirits still inside the old prison serving more than a life sentence,” reports Clutter. “The former West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville is once again the scene of a network production.”

“The show Ghostlab, aired on the Discovery Channel, is trying to prove paranormal activity,” reports Clutter. “Ghostlab is based on two brothers, Barry and Brad…and their investigation team whose stated mission is to ‘visit the most haunted places in America, find evidence, and test new theories to probe the existence of the afterlife.’”

“Brad Klinge, with Everyday Paranormal, said he’s experienced everything from sights and sounds to apparitions and his group has recorded voices, as well,” reports Clutter. “Brad Klinge founded everyday paranormal in 2007, but was interested in the after-life since he was a teenager and had a paranormal experience in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.”

“The group was drawn to Moundsville because of it’s past,” reports Clutter.

“We came here because of the history.. it has a steep history dating back to the Civil War. We’re here to hunt ghosts,” said Barry Klinge.

Ghost Adventures Special Episodes

The Travel Channel's hit TV Show Ghost Adventures aired to special, brand new episodes tonight, in preperation for the show's season premire next Friday.

The first special episode, Zak, Nick & Aaron shared what they believe are their best pieces of evidence.

Some pieces they shared included pieces of evidence that they missed when going over the footage; but fans did not miss, and quickly informed the crew of what they saw.

One piece of audio evidence they shared was of an EVP of a man saying "Nick.....Zak.....Coming......They scaring me....."

The second special episode, Zak, Nick & Aaron shared the moments that they considered were the most intense.

The first most intense moment the crew shared was Bobby Mackey's.

The crew explained that some of the demonic forces that are at Bobby Mackey's followed each of them home; and made their home lives hell for quite awhile.

Aaron's exact words were "it made my life a living hell for a long time..."

Another intense moment they shared was the time when Nick was locked in the morgue in a storage freezer, where he captured an EVP saying "....die...."

Nick wanting out, called for Zak and Aaron to come get him. But they couldn't find him right away and said they were very worried about Nick not having enough air in there.

When they did find him, Zak kicked open the door to the Morgue.

Another moment was when Nick because possessed by some kind of evil spirit at the Moonriver Brewery.

Nick said "during that moment all I heard in my head was a voice saying "Kill 'em". And the look in his eyes clearly showed what he was thinking.

Another moment they shared was at Preston Castle, where Zak became possessed by the spirit of Anna Corbin, after leaving her some flowers. Anna Corbin had been brutally murdered in the building.

Another moment was when they were at Louisianna. They had a Priestess do a ceremony that would open the gates so they could see and hear the spirits.

A picture took during the ceremony showed swirls of white mist (that was not visiable to the naked eye) swirlling all around the Ghost Adventures Crew.

Another event was in Italy, where Zak became possessed by a very mean, evil spirit.

Zak said after that, it took him about 2 weeks to get back to normal

Billy Ray Cyrus Goes Paranormal - Syfy Series Being Developed with Son Trace

This is one strange family, but they seem to enjoy working together. Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus spent four years working with his daughter Miley Cyrus on her television series, and now it is time for him to show the other Cyrus child some attention. He has plans to work with his twenty-one year old son, Trace Cyrus, on a new series set for the Syfy channel.

Yrs, you read that right! The Syfy Channel. Billy Ray is going towards the paranormal with this new series titled "UFO: Unbelievably Freakin' Obvious." On the show, the two will investigate conspiracy theories. Yes, Billy Ray and Trace will get down to the bottom of things when it comes to all paranormal.

A statement from Mark Statement, the head of programming for Syfy, had this to say: "Our audience craves authentic, compelling and informative storytelling that pushes the boundaries of our normal world. Allegations of cover-up and conspiracy around unexplained phenomena has inspired heated debate for decades," Stern said. "It will be interesting to see what truth Billy Ray and Trace may discover."

The paranormal has certainly found a home on the network. This began several years ago with the series "Ghost Hunters" on Syfy. That series takes the TAPS team into locations to investigate paranormal activity in search of ghosts. Since its premiere, the series has spawned two spin-offs, "Ghost Hunters International" and "Ghost Hunters Academy."

In this new weekly reality series on Syfy, the father and son will travel across the country together as they try to reveal the truth behind some of the biggest conspiracy and cover ups. The two will be assisted by Silent Franky' back in his home basement with tips received via computer. The assistant is reportedly Trace's best friend. No word when this series will hit Syfy, but it is currently in development. For the latest in television news, go here.

Alas the rumors were true- I've indeed stopped filming with both the GHI/GH programs. Let me address the questions I'm sure will surface: All is well between myself and the team members- I was asked back to film for both shows, but its just time to move on and pursue other ventures as I feel I am be guided to do. I miss the friends I made on the team and within production and wish them the best.

I've been enjoying being home with my family, doing the event circuit and working on a 3rd book with Mr FitzGerald. Most importantly I'm
developing a Christian Ministry which I am hoping will help change
